The Language of Destiny
Names carry power beyond what we initially understand.
They become threads woven through our experiences, creating patterns we often recognize only in hindsight.
When I began noticing how the letter W appeared repeatedly in the most significant moments and identities of my life — from the roles I’ve inhabited to the wisdom I’ve sought — I started to wonder whether this was merely coincidence or something deeper.
Perhaps our names are not simply labels assigned at birth.
Perhaps they are breadcrumbs.
Small signals left by the soul, quietly guiding us toward ourselves.
I have always loved words.
As a child, they became word searches.
Later, crossword puzzles that connected me to my father.
Now they appear as Wordles and fragments scribbled into notebooks at 4 a.m.
Words have kept me company during seasons of sadness.
Words have kept me employed.
Words have filled more pages than I could ever count.
And somehow, so many of them begin with W.

Looking back, it feels as though the language of my life was quietly forming long before I understood the pattern.
There’s a theory that we choose the lives we enter because certain lessons are waiting for us there.
If that is true, perhaps names are not accidental either.
Perhaps they are gifts from our future selves — carried to us through our parents, waiting patiently for us to recognize their meaning.
Waiting for us to remember who we really are.
What patterns might be hiding in your own name?
Take a moment to consider the first letter of your name — or perhaps a nickname that has followed you throughout your life.
Notice where it appears:
in the roles you’ve played,
the places you’ve been drawn to,
the ideas and symbols that continue to call to you.
Sometimes the universe speaks through the most ordinary things, quietly waiting for us to recognize the extraordinary connections that were there all along.
What letter keeps appearing in your story?
I would love to hear what patterns you discover.
